Main Lagoon Sludge Cleaning

Pocomoke City is soliciting bids for the removal of sludge from our main wastewater lagoon and stone replacement at the Pocomoke Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 1634 Dun Swamp Road, Pocomoke City, Maryland 21851.

Scope

This project will include:

  1. Removal, drying and hauling of sludge to the Worcester County Landfill not to exceed fifteen (15) truck loads.
  2. Procure and deliver Hauling of five (5) truck loads of #57 stone to the wastewater treatment plant for the contractor to spread onto the drying area located along the driveway.

Notes

  1. The Contractor shall notify the Public Works Director prior to start of all work. Work shall begin within fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days of notification given to proceed.
  2. Pocomoke City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to wave informalities, and to otherwise act in the best interest of the City in all matters related to the proposed work.
  3. Copies of W-9, MHIC, Business License, and Insurance information must be included.

All bids must be sealed and received by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at City Hall. Bids will be received in the City Clerks Office located at 101 Clarke Avenue, Pocomoke City, Maryland 21851.
